Gifts of Cash, Check or Credit Card
These are the most common donations to the Foundation.
- CASH - If you want to donate currency, it is best to hand it to one of the staff or board members so they can give you a temporary receipt.
- CHECK - The most common way to donate is to simply write a check, made out to FUHSF. You can hand your check to a board member, or mail it to our office.
- CREDIT CARD - This is perhaps the easiest way for you to donate. You can make a credit card donation by phone or by mail
Gifts of Securities
Gifts of securities can offer an added tax advantage. If you donate securities that have increased in value, you get to deduct the full market value as a charitable donation AND you won't pay income tax on the amount they have appreciated. Please download these instructions for donating securities.
Gifts via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Matching Gifts
If your employer has a matching gifts program, be sure to let us know. Your gift will mean even more when you do.
In-Kind Gifts
We have several opportunities for in-kind gifts. The main one is to donate one or more items to our annual Crab Feed auctions. Please contact us so we can discuss your specific offer.
