Community Support

It Takes a Village . . .

The support of a caring community of people like you helps our school district withstand the impact of the deep budget cuts to education and the current fiscal climate.

Whether you are alumni looking for a way to give back to the schools that helped to nurture your own or your student’s formative years, or a local business or industry interested in contributing towards the next generation of national and world leaders, or a home owner who knows our schools provide an excellent buffer in an otherwise volatile property market — your support is vital and much appreciated!

Our District ranks third in the state in academic achievement, but 50th (out of 80) in funding per student. As the primary fundraising organization for the school district, any donation you make to the Foundation helps to maintain the excellence of the education the schools provide our students.

The Foundation works closely with the school district to define areas in need of growth and development which have the most impact on our students. Currently the Foundation is helping to fund several projects and programs that will greatly enhance student success.

SCHOOL LOOP is an online tool that helps students and parents monitor grades, school activities and classroom assignments and communicate with teachers.

NAVIANCE is an online guidance tool that helps juniors and seniors master the college application process, from identifying career interests, helping with SAT preparation, choosing potential colleges, and submitting applications

We help to nurture the development of the “whole” child through our support of the VISUAL AND PERFORMING ARTS departments.

ROBOTICS and ENGINEERING is an exciting new area of education in the sciences that we are proud to help the District set up.

Your contribution, in any amount, to the general fund or in any area that speaks to your personal interests and passions will help to maintain all of these programs as well as the overall quality of education our schools can provide.

The Foundation is an IRS 501 (c)(3) charitable organization (ID 94-2907804). Your contributions are tax deductible.
