Foundation Funded Programs and Projects

In June, the Board of Directors unanimously approved funding of $200,000 of the following programs for the 2016-2017 school year.  Of that, $40,000 will be directed to Homestead High School to fund items such as the award-winning FBLA program, student safety items for science classes, state of the art lighting for the theatre arts department, a new diving board and uniforms for the athletics department, and computers and equipment for the journalism program at Homestead.  The Foundation continues to fund School Loop and Naviance – which are critical to student success in navigating homework assignments and the college application process.
