Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why does your presence matter more than ever?

The Myth Many believe that because FUHSD is a high-performing district, state funding covers all student needs.

The Reality State funding only covers the essentials. The “extraordinary” programs—like the award-winning robotics teams, student wellness centers, and college-readiness workshops—rely the grant funded by the Foundation.

Key Fact: Over 9,000 students across our five schools depend on the gap we bridge together.

Where do the funds go?
  • Innovating the Classroom: Funding for advanced labs, journalism, and performing arts that traditional budgets don’t reach.

  • Supporting the Student: Direct investment in wellness centers and mental health support.

  • Preparing for the Future: Access to Naviance and job-fair resources to prepare students for the competitive global landscape.

Who is this event for?

Parents, alumni, educators, local business owners, and community members who believe in the power of public education.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Our dinner includes vegetarian and meat options. Please note any specific allergies when you purchase your ticket.

Can I help if I can't come to the dinner?
